There are many ways that YOU can make a difference
Encourage your company, club or friends to host a drive! Have a food drive, snack drive, personal item drive, stuffed animal drive or a holiday toy drive. Every donation is appreciated!
Drop off any of the following items at Children’s Center, 13500 SE 7th Street, Vancouver, WA 98683, Mon – Fri., 8 am to 7 pm.
Year Long Need! Many of our client’s benefits are being reduced and their cupboards are empty. When times are lean, we like to help bridge the gap by giving a bag of food to take home. Needed items: peanut butter, tuna fish, pasta & sauce, canned meat, rice, beans, canned fruit, canned chili, other non-perishable food items.
Holiday Food Drive
Every year we have a large food drive during the month of October so that we can give an extra bag of food to the families we serve in November prior to the holidays. If your business or club would like to participate, your food donations would be extremely appreciated.
Personal Items Drive
Year Long Need! Donate items not covered under food stamps, such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo, tooth paste, deodorant, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.
Year Long Need! Donate large new stuffed animals or aquarium rock. Volunteer to sew. Some of our young clients with sensory issues greatly appreciate the calming influence of a weighted stuffed animal. We take new stuffed animals, have volunteers remove the stuffing and replace it with washed aquarium rock, then sew it back up. Minimal sewing skills needed!
Year Long Need! Help fill the snack cupboard at Children’s Center. Many children arrive hungry at their appointments because they didn’t get breakfast or lunch. Hunger makes it hard to focus on therapy. Help provide a healthy snack to eliminate hunger! Suggested items: protein bars, peanut butter crackers, fruit leather, etc.
