Ways to Help
Host a Drive
Host a Food Drive – Year Long Need!
Many of our client’s benefits are being reduced and their cupboards are empty. When times are lean, we like to help bridge the gap by giving a bag of food to take home.
Holiday Food Drive
Every year we have a large food drive during the month of October and early part of November so that we can give an extra bag of food in November to the families we serve prior to the holidays.
Holiday Toy Drive: November – mid-December
Sew Heavy Helpers
Year Long Need!
Some of our young clients with sensory issues greatly appreciate the calming influence of a weighted stuffed animal. We take new stuffed animals, have volunteers remove the stuffing and replace it with washed aquarium rocks, then sew it back up. Minimal sewing skills required!
Event Assistance
Be a part of the action! Help make our fundraising events a big success.
Therapy Garden
Roll up your sleeves and help keep our beautiful Maxine McClaskey Therapy Garden looking great. Green thumbs welcome — but not required!
Share Your Talents
We’d love to hear YOUR ideas for how you might help support our mission. We’re always open to creative ideas to spread the word, raise funds, and help more kids!
A Word
From Our Champions
“It’s heartbreaking to know what some of these kids experience. If volunteering can help even one child achieve a happy life, there is nothing we wouldn’t do to make sure they have every chance to achieve that goal.”
– Brian & Mary Thompson
